Iman Yanée

Iman ‘Mizz Beats’ Yanée is a British music producer whose career spans more than two decades.

Known for her distinctive approach to sound design and genre-defying production, Yanée has built a catalogue spanning multiple musical worlds – Hip-Hop, R&B, Grime, Electronic music and the wider bass music landscape – while retaining a sound unmistakably her own.

Her production credits include D Smoke, SiR, Terrace Martin, D Double E, Dizzee Rascal, Skepta and more, with work released through labels including Island/Def Jam, Warner Music and XL Recordings.

Beginning her professional production career at 17, she emerged during the formative years of Grime, establishing herself through her forward-thinking production and becoming widely recognised as Grime’s first female producer.

Her work has contributed to the evolution of UK music culture through her pioneering role as a female producer, breaking new ground at a time when women were significantly underrepresented in music production.
